What's not included

To keep things transparent and help you prepare with confidence, here’s what’s not included in your tour package:

  • International flights and airport taxes — You’ll be booking your own flights to Ajaccio

  • Transport to/from your local home airport — Getting to your departure airport is up to you.

  • Optional domestic flights or train tickets — If you're combining this trip with other travels in Europe.

  • Travel insurance — Highly recommended for peace of mind in case of unexpected changes or interruptions.

  • Hotel extras like laundry service, room service, or minibar charges.

  • Hard liquors before, during, or after meals — local wine and tastings are included, but stronger spirits are at your own expense.

  • Personal expenses, souvenirs, or any shopping along the way.

  • Phone calls, postage, or international data charges — Wi-Fi is generally available in hotels, but outside usage is on you.

Energy & Mobility

What to Expect Physically? This journey invites you to be active and open to adventure. While the pace is comfortable and designed for enjoyment, a spirit of exploration and mobility will help you make the most of each day. On these 8-day tour and 10 days tours through Corsica, you'll need to comfortably:

  • Walk through small towns, villages, and natural landscapes — including scenic walks and guided city explorations — sometimes on uneven paths or cobblestone streets, mountain trails.

  • Join group outings that may involve being on your feet for up to 2–3 hours, both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine as our tours includes hikes (easy to moderate).

  • Climb a few flights of stairs in accommodations that may not have elevators, as many are charm-filled and locally owned.

  • Navigate relaxed but full days, with a balance of activities, tastings, boat ride, and cultural visits — including two farm/dolmen tours and wine & food tastings.

  • Pack light and carry your own luggage to and from transportation and your hotel room.

  • Embrace local rhythms, including occasional late dinners and plenty of time to soak in the surroundings at your own pace.

We’ve crafted the experience to feel immersive yet manageable — no intense hikes or high-speed itineraries — just a beautiful mix of connection, movement, and meaningful rest.

Accommodations

All hotels included in the tour are handpicked for their charm, comfort, and local flavor. We primarily select 4-star accommodations, as we aim to provide a high level of comfort throughout your journey. However, in some cases, we may opt for a well-located or especially authentic 3-star hotel — particularly when it offers a truly local experience . Our preference always leans toward smaller, non-chain hotels that immerse you in the local culture, rather than more generic, luxury options. For example, one of our charming 3-star hotels might not have the boutique style you're used to, but its incredible location or historic character makes it a standout. Especially along the coast, where space and authenticity go hand in hand, you might find a slightly simpler hotel with breathtaking views or direct beach access. As seasoned travelers, we understand the difference in standards across regions and always choose accommodations with thoughtful intention. You’ll receive a complete list of our selected hotels four weeks before departure for full transparency.

How to get there?

Our journey begins in Ajaccio! This historic city is a must-visit to truly understand the soul of Corsica. We’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for your first night. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have the chance to relax and unwind or take a stroll through Ajaccio’s charming streets—perfect for a bit of shopping or a leisurely wander. That evening, we’ll gather as a small group of no more than 6–8 guests for a special welcome dinner at one of our handpicked local restaurants. It’s the perfect way to kick off our Corsican adventure together!

Getting Around

For a comfortable and personalized experience, we provide private transportation throughout the tour. Depending on the size of the group, we use minivans or cars (with no more than 6 people per vehicle) to ensure a spacious and relaxed journey. This includes transportation to and from the airport of arrival, as well as between your hotel and all planned activities. Whether you’re heading to a scenic walk, a charming village, or a local farm visit, we take care of all the logistics, allowing you to focus on enjoying the journey. With our private transport, you'll enjoy the convenience and ease of traveling in comfort and style, tailored to your group's needs.

FAQ

Do you provide Travel Insurance?

No- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself from unexpected issues like trip cancellations, illness, or lost luggage.
Most comprehensive policies cover medical care, emergency evacuation, trip delays, and cancellations due to valid reasons.
Keep in mind that COVID-related concerns (like fear of travel) are usually not covered unless you have a Cancel For Any Reason policy.
If you’re over 65, remember that Medicare doesn’t cover you abroad, so extra medical insurance is essential.
Some policies reimburse you only after you’ve paid out-of-pocket, so always read the fine print.
Make sure to bring your policy number and emergency contact info with you.
We don't provide travel insurance, but we highly recommend it for your peace of mind.
Your provider can help clarify what’s covered — and what’s not — before your trip begins.
